We are a group of dedicated Media and Communication postgraduate students at the University of Leicester here in the United Kingdom, and as part of our postgraduate degree certificate, we were tasked to develop a website about the history of the internet or a wider history about computing.
After a series of deliberate considerations regarding the content of our website, we concluded on sharing the history of the internet in our respective countries.
However, we encourage every visitor to contribute on our page by commenting on the blog posts or by emailing us their personal experiences regarding their usage of the internet. If you are from a different country and would love to tell us about your country’s internet experience, just email us.
Every well researched story sent to us via email, will be published on our website. We believe that we can all become content producers in the cyberspace.
